exchange – network – inspiration

stART.up-Alumni:ae à Paris! Together with our cooperation partners, Fondation Fiminco and Maison Heinrich Heine, we offer young artists an international platform for their art. They have the opportunity to present their work in the French capital, connect with cultural professionals and institutions on-site, and explore new contexts for their artistic practice.

With the Claussen-Simon Residencies in Paris, we offer stART.up alumni two different opportunities to work in Paris and present themselves internationally: dépARTS comes with a three-month work grant, focusing on independent artistic work on a personal project in the studios of Fondation Fiminco. A key aspect of the program is networking with other international artists in residence and with cultural institutions in Paris. Our cooperation with Maison Heinrich Heine emphasizes a solo exhibition in Paris, which can be combined with a one-month residency at the renowned Franco-German cultural institution in the heart of the Cité internationale universitaire. From the very beginning, stART.up has had an international focus, reflecting the diverse backgrounds of its Hamburg-based fellows. With these new collaborations, we enable outstanding former scholarship holders to present their art abroad and to establish a network in France and beyond.
